March holidays

I haven't updated for close to 2 weeks now (I swear it doesn't feel that long hahaha), and I must admit the past 2 weeks went by exceedingly fast! I wish time would slow down :-(

Throw back to the March Holidays, when I spend most of my time in school, mostly preparing for OLC with my group blizzard: the day we met up to paint our flag, practice our performance/cheers, collect our dried leaves/kindlings etc :-)
My group has very little girls if you noticed hahaha they're a really fun bunch of people to be around with!! :)

Met up with Chia Te & Li Ann after their netball training on Wed and Chia Te & I watched Divergent!!!! It was the first day of release and we felt so cool hehe

Li Ann didn't join us for the movie cause she had work to do :( but we managed to catch up a little before she headed home :)

The movie is SOOOO DAMN FREAKING GOOD! I'm a huge fan of the book so I was super excited to watch it and even though it wasn't as good as the book, IT'S STILL FREAKING AMAZING!!!! Go and watch it if you haven't! I would definitely watch it again when I have the time. Sigh tris & four are perfect together *.*

And if you noticed, I finally went for a hair cut! Snipped off a good few inches and I was really bummed about it at the start! I do miss my long hair but it's so much lighter & healthier now!! SELF REMINDER THAT HAIR CAN GROW (Trying to be optimistic here)

The last few days of the holidays were spent at OLC, and I wouldn't go into details of the camp but it was no doubt an extremely tough/tiring one. There were so many times during the camp when I just wanted to give up and go home but I'm so glad I didn't! Even though it was extremely strenuous & exhausting, it was definitely a fulfilling one. We were constantly being pushed to our limits and I managed to complete things that I never thought I could do, and I'm so thankful to have blizzard around me for the 3 days of camp :)


The camp ended with everyone having muscle aches and limping out of school which my mom couldn't stop laughing about HAHA and I was so smelly I stunk up the entire car on the way back home!! We had school the next day and I had such a hard time getting out of bed :-(

Nothing much happened in school so let's fast forward to the night we had blizzard dinner at the airport :)
we had dinner at Astons and played truth or dare afterwards, some dares really got us on the floor laughing HAHAHAHA. We left the airport at around 10 and something super unpleasant happened on the bus ride home :(
And the long-awaited day arrived... results day!!!! We had our very last activity where we wrote encouraging messages to one another and some messages really made me all fuzzy inside HAHAHA I'll definitely keep them with me forever :-)

We got our results and i was so relieved to see my name on the list of people who got selected!!! The mood/atmosphere wasn't very good because there were people who didn't get selected.. & I didn't really feel as good as I expected myself to :-(

Put that aside, I'm so glad i got into ODAC!!! :) we'll be going for a morning run tgt tomorrow and I hope all goes well! I hope that we'll all grow as close as our seniors as time goes by :)

And it was music fest's semi finals on Saturday!! We didn't get to practice much together and I'm so upset with myself because I messed up my part...... i really hope we get through the semi finals :'( hoping for the best!!

Went for lunch at Pizza Hut with Debbie & Sean afterwards followed by a cup of gelato!! Finally satisfied my craving for pistachio gelato *.*




So sorry for the rushed post! Decided to do a quick one before everything starts to pile up!! I've been so busy lately i have hardly time for anything else besides school, it does feel like the o'levels period all over again sigh hahaha long day at school tomorrow, good night! :-)

Last week of term 1

The march holidays are finally here!!! :D which is also a reminder of how fast time is flying past, I can't believe we're already one month into JC, It still feels weird thinking about how we're already done with secondary school. (I miss dunman sigh)

It's not much of a holiday though, especially since how there are so much school work to complete and OLC is so so so near!! Nerves are really kicking in as the camp approaches but I'm really looking forward to it at the same time, I can't wait to finally put myself in the test and to find out what's in hold for all of us. It'll be mentally torturous and I don't know how much I can handle but I'll have to promise myself to continue to push myself no matter how tough it gets. The thought of it really scares me tbh.

Put that aside, here's what happened for the past week! Cheryl & Eeming came down to my school to fetch me from school last Tuesday! :D

We headed down to Udders for a short meal which was nearby
tried a new ice cream flavor but I'm not a fan of it! I'll probably stick to my fav mao shan wang ice cream the next time I go there hehe :-)

The amount of selfies we take everyday is crazy man!! Hahaha here are just some of them :p

We had our last day of school on Thursday cause Friday was our school's off-day!! :) the term ended off really well with a long chat/h2h with Mathilda and Lisa while waiting for Jon & Yongquan for dinner! Opened up about some things and they're really good listeners, haha we should really do this more often :) and we figured that the grandstand is a perfect place for us to do that HAHA
Had dinner at astons that night and I choked on my food halfway through :-( great chat with them over dinner tho hehe



Friday started off real bad for me, things kept going wrong and I was in such a bad mood! Didn't want to show it in real life & I got through the day constantly reminding myself to stay positive at all times :) things did get better as the day carried on thankfully! It does work trust me :) if you're having a bad start to the day, just reassure yourself that nothing can get worse from that & things will eventually get better! We had OLC training in the morning and I met my group, blizzard! I'll be spending A LOT of time with them and I can't wait to get to know them better! Met up with sherman to have a quick lunch at Strictly Pancakes :))




Had to go back to school (again) on Saturday to meet my group to discuss some things for OLC! Only 6 people (including me) turned up but we managed to finish up what we planned to do in a surprisingly short amount of time so yay!! I was the only girl but they were all friendly so it wasn't that awkward :) we headed to parkway cause some of 'em were hungry and I had to go back to school afterwards to pick Dino up! He came to VJ for the choir exchange and I was so excited to see him!!!!! :D



Had a quick catch up over Starbucks and it was indeed nice being able to meet up with a close friend!! I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder, I really look forward to the occasional meet ups with the clique, be it individually or as a group :)


Went for an invigorating run after I reached home!


and it felt soooo good


It's almost 2am and I have to be up by 8 tomorrow to meet the band in school! (sounds cool saying that hahaha let me be) Good news, we got into the semi-finals for music fest!!!!!! But I do have doubts about myself... Semi finals are less than 2 weeks away and I just hope that everything goes smoothly :) why am I always so nervous about everything!!

As much as I'm enjoying school right now, I have to admit that the school workload is increasing by quite a bit. Each chapter is also getting harder and harder & I gotta put in much more effort to grasp a particular concept. It does feel like I'm studying for O'levels everyday haha I hope I don't burn out soon & l'll continue to put in consistent effort!! :-)

On a side note, I'm looking forward to April!!! So many school events coming up and it's also my birth month hehe

Went to town with my mom yesterday and I got a new pair of shoes for school :D I know I'm late but who cares hehe



and we had a delectable meal at Yomenya Goemon in Changi City Point for dinner! it tastes better than it looks in the picture trust me haha, I'll definitely go back there again :)

what I wore yesterday- my crotchet babydoll dress from ashincans! I've been looking for one for the longest time!!







woke up with my throat feeling extremely uncomfortable and it hasn't gotten any better since :( ah I really don't wanna fall sick, especially since how OLC is not far away!


it hasn't rained for such a long period of time and the grass all turned horribly yellow + the haze isn't really helping. I hope we get through this phase of bad weather soon :( so many of my friends are falling ill as well, take care guys, drink lots of water!!

I snacked so much today I have a food baby hahaha I'm feelin' so guilty!! Hehe oh well, have a great week ahead guys :) and all the best to the J2s who are taking their CTs tomorrow! :))
