I've been feeling pretty lousy lately, not sure why I'm feeling this way.

Suddenly missing my secondary school life a lot, how things used to be, and especially my secondary school friends whom I got to see every single day. I'm glad I do have a few close friends here but I don't know, it's hard to find another group of friends just like them whom I can truly be comfortable with. It really sucks how we can only meet up once in a very long while and I do appreciate every single second we get to spend together during these lil meet ups. Thank goodness we are meeting up for dinner tomorrow, desperately need their presence in my life :'(


"hUh really???? but she studied so hard!!!" it does suck how I'm not performing up to my own standards despite putting in the effort :-( but I figured out that I just have to find the correct study method!!! promos coming up in 56 days and I want to do well so badly :-(

Been constantly reminding myself to stay positive no matter what since the start of the year, "positive things happen to positive people" and well tonight's an exception, I just don't feel too good tonight. Not sure why I'm feeling all emotional now, late night feels perhaps, or probably just my period idk but ahh I felt like there was a need to pour out my pent-up feelings and thoughts a little. Haven't felt like this for a very long time haha :-)

studying in school with sherman > dinner with the clique tomorrow :) it shall be za good day and it will be :)

think positive and positive things will happen

It's just one of those nights when I don't feel too good. In the midst of all of the schoolwork, PW deadlines and CCA duties, it's pretty much impossible for anyone to not get stressed up and I can honestly feel the pressure coming in.

Promo's are approximately 60 days away, and even though I didn't fail any subjects this time round, they aren't really up to standard :-( Being surrounded by extremely smart students from prestigious secondary schools all around singapore is definitely not easy haha it's insane how good some of their results are!!!! nothing compared to my mere passes.

It's ridiculous how time has been passing by so quickly, and having to race against time is definitely a challenge. I haven't had the chance to properly sit down to study and revise my work lately and I'm pretty sure promo's will be here in no time 😔

It's of utmost importance that I manage my time well and prioritize what's important in order to prevent myself from feeling stressed out from the workload every now and then (like tonight). I truly hope that I'll be fully prepared for promo's when it comes!

P.s. I decided to take a break from askfm because it was clearly taking up too much of my time!!

Adventures with Shermz

I had a really wonderful time last Friday night :) met up with sherman for dinner at kallang and we decided to eat at Thai Express bc I've never tried it before and he was telling me how good the Phat Thai was!!! :)

Then we decided to make our way down to Marina Barrage, hoping to catch the sunset which we eventually did!! :)

And we spent the rest of the night walking from marina barrage all the way back to kallang :) this is one of the extremely rare days when we actually got to take our time off our studies to go on a proper date and I really did enjoy every single moment of it :) it was such a simple yet a magical night spent! but ahh now we gotta get back on track to studying!

I hope this week will be a good one :)

one day closer

I gave school a miss today because I was feeling unwell and mainly because I needed a break since my past weekend was completely taken up by kayaking. I've been extremely restless during lessons for the past 2 days, probably due to my medication or maybe it's just due to the lack of sleep.
Didn't exactly catch up on my sleep because I woke up early to study & caught up with all of my school work instead :-)

ahh I can't believe it's Thursday already, it feels like it was just yesterday when we had our 3rd period PE, more running + conditioning tomorrow!!!!! gotta work on my 2.4 timing and hopefully reach <13 minutes??? :)

life's all good

hello!!!!!! :) just thought I'd do a quick update on my life before I head to bed! Throwback to the last day of my MYES which was a pleasant one :)) Con, Stacey, Mat & I decided to go for lunch together to 'celebrate' the end of our MYEs and we settled for lunch at the owl café at bedok point!

we randomly chanced upon this café while making our way to the korean BBQ store where we were supposedly to have our lunch at hehe

And I must say they serve really unique & delectable dishes with very very distinct taste!!!
E.g. the soft shell crab spaghetti with chilli crab sauce, pasta with laksa sauce etc :)

Mine was the one with the laksa sauce hehe yum


We shared a plate of Crispy Duck Spring Onion Prata which was freaking good!!!!! And we also shared 2 bowls of desserts, I can't remember the name exactly but the chendol was to die for!!!!!!!!!!! *.* the lady who served us was so friendly and ahh my experience there was just amazing hehe I would go back there for a meal any time :))

Rushed over to changi city point to get a new pair of running shoes!!!! I've been contemplating whether to get it for quite some time and I'm glad I finally did :)

(I swear the only colour I get for my running shoes is pink HAHA)



Rushed back home to change before coming out to meet some of my favourite people to watch transformers, have dinner & do a quick catch up :) transformers wasn't that great, was very fidgety halfway through the movie cause the movie was way too long for me!!! (~3 hours)

settled for dinner at a ramen place that just opened in tampines mall, it was the same one I went to at bedok with sherman the previous time and yay I'm so happy they opened one here!!! :) we were being a total public nuisance but it's ok, I had such a great laugh over dinner hehe





Haven't had a choco come for the longest time!!

Had CLIC camp the next day and I woke up earlier just to dye my hair a darker colour bc I didn't want to get into any trouble and I did the stupidest thing EVER. Ok if you've ever tried dyeing your hair before, you'll know that you have to pour the hair colourant into a bottle of mixture before colouring your hair right????? I was so blur I poured the hair conditioner instead and spent (wasted) 1 hour of my time trying to colour my hair only to realise I poured in the wrong packet into the bottle :-( thank goodness I have an extra packet of hair dye at home but I had to rush bc I was runnin' late!!! did manage to dye my hair but I didn't manage to leave it on my hair for long :-( I was so rush and panicky because I was so afraid I was gonna be late!! (I wasn't) haha ok back to clic camp!!!

I was initially quite reluctant to go because MYEs just ended and I really wanted to rest for the long weekend but after going through 4 days, I have absolutely no regrets going for this camp :) I met the most amazing group of people there plus had really nice facilitators (Chong Kiat & Sarah) and also our Coach from Adam Khoo (Fadz)!!! they're all extremely lovely people and I wouldn't go into much details of the camp but all I can say is the camp is indeed meaningful + unforgettable :-) I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to attend this camp & I had a really good 4 days!!!!!!









The camp started off with an amazing race where he had to travel all around Singapore to complete missions & obtain Victorian Secrets!!! Our group focused mainly on town area :)




Spent our night at Sembawang Camp and we slept in dorms!!!! It was so comfy given that it's a camp :-) oh and we played some games that night and the ceiling suddenly fell off and it landed on my head :-( the impact was so big & but thankfully I was fine!!!!!

Painted our face in the morning before heading out to continue our Amazing Race!!














Our end point was at East Coast Park where we had some mentally/physically session that lasted for a few hours! It was tough but I'm so happy that we completed the challenge as a batch :))

Sherman rode to east coast park that night just to pass me his portable charger even though he was watching World Cup halfway & it was past midnight. So grateful and blessed to have a boyfriend who would do anything for me 😭❤️ Slept in tents that night and I slept surprisingly well!! (ODAC lifestyle)

Headed back to school in the morning to shower before starting on our CIP! Our group was tasked to spread awareness of foreign workers in Singapore and after spending our morning at Lucky Plaza interviewing and getting to know the foreign workers, we came up with a campaign called #projectftw (for the workers)!!! what we did was to go around somerset area asking random people to pen down their appreciation for the foreign workers + asked the foreign workers to write down what makes them happy :)) it was such a meaningful activity!!! feel free to check it out on our instagram page!! Went back to school after a long day and we had bash night that night when we got to dress up!!




















Clic camp ended on Monday and i was so tired i knocked out immediately once i got on the bus and missed my bus stop :( sherman wanted to meet me at the park that day but I couldn't go down and it turned out that he got me flowers + chocolates and wanted to surprise me but his efforts were wasted and it made me feel damn terrible after finding out 😭


School the next day and it was Xiao lin's birthday! I was so upset because the balloon I got her deflated by the time it reached her :((((( I was so excited to give it to her the day before!!!!!! agh was so pissed @ myself :(


I do hope that she liked the mini (failed) surprise tho :)


went to changi city point on one of the days to get cupcakes for Amanda's birthday with sherman and we ended up having sushi :))))






Amanda's such a genuine person and I really do appreciate her :))))

Had a super magical night on Friday with the one and only ❤️ he brought me to Kallang, hoping to grab dinner at Poulet because we've been wanting to try it for the longest time but turned out it hasn't opened yet :( was kinda bummed but we found another place to have dinner at!!


We both agreed that it doesn't matter where we eat at, what matters more is the company hehe I really do enjoy nights like these and spending time with him hehe




It was honestly one of the most magical + loveliest night I've had so far and ahhhh I can't emphasize how lucky I am to have such an amazing boyfriend :')) can't wait for our next adventure/proper date :))))

Spent the next 2 days of my weekends kayaking and wheeeee we finally got our one star kayaking certs!!!! It was sure tiring but I had such a gr8 time with my ODAC peeps :)))


Met up with Shermz to have a quick dinner at Changi Airport after kayaking on Sunday and it was so nice seeing his face even just for a short 2 hours :))



Not sure if I missed out anything but I kind of rushed it through (especially towards the end)!!! life is so good right now; everything's going so smoothly and I'm feeling ever so thankful every single day :)) besides the fact that I'm unwell now but all's good :)
