We had to wake up at 7am this morning bc we had to reach harbor front by 9am which means that we'll have to leave our house at around 8am! I'm not a morning person so I was so reluctant to get up, almost wanted to give it a pass bc I was so tired but thank god I didn't :)
Met up with the cable skiing group - turned out I was the youngest there and all of the men were pretty well-built and so they were kinda intimidating haha! Was kinda anxious at the start but I managed to shake it off :-) boarded the ferry and off we go to batam!
Reached batam around half an hour later and we were told that we were given the priority queue so we all walked in like bosses :'D The normal queue was soooooo long, the guy told us it'll probably take us 2 hours to get in!!
Took a coach down to the cable ski park and the place is amazing!!
The beginners were given a briefing before we got to try AND I SUCK AT IT HAHAHA but I managed to compete 3/4 of the whole round so that's pretty good for me I guess :') managed to suntan for a couple of hours (not continuously) and it was so relaxing, being able to just lie at the bench and watch people cable ski with such a gorgeous view :)
One of the angmor guys was eating in the water lol
Most of the people in our group are probably in their mid 20s or early 30s, and most of 'em were drinking + smoking so I felt slightly out of place hahaha & some of them are pretty..... wild
There were a lot of professionals there and their stunts are freaking cool, like they were all doing backflips, skiing over the obstacles and stuff while the rest of us were just trying our best not to fall into the water hahaha,
Cable skiing is super tiring, all you have to do is to hold on to a handle and it will pull you along! The impact is huge and it strains your arms a lot, everyone was so drained out by the end of the day! Definitely not as easy as it sounds like hahaha it's super tough for beginners, especially for me hehe, I'm super bad at turning at the corners.
We had to try the kneeling one first before we could upgrade to the standing up one and both my bro's gf & I didn't get to try the standing one HAHAHAHA we already had difficulties with the amateur level, let alone standing up! both of my brothers tried the standing up one but kept falling, I suppose no beginners managed to succeed hehe oh and whenever you drop down, you'll have to swim to the nearest shore and the staffs will ride a motorcycle to fetch you back to the starting point which was pretty cool ;-)

A group of angmor guys in our group got pretty drunk and they are super yolo, they decided to climb all the way up and jump down LOL
A few random shots
I'm not a fan of cats but this kitten was exceptionally adorable!!!! :')
We left the place at 630 batam time and took the ferry back to harbor front, had dinner at Marché before our parents came to fetch us home :-)
Knocked out when I reach home which explains why I only uploaded this post today! I was blogging halfway and I got so tired I decided to sleep and I'm only continuing now :)

my arms have been terribly sore since yesterday and it still is right now hahaha I feel like my arms are completely being drained out of energy. I have a pretty bad sunburn bc I forgot to put sunblock, I look toasted and it kinda hurts, I also have some random scratches and bruises but despite that, it's undeniably an unforgettable experience and I'll probably go back there again when I'm older :)
