VJC Oriention day 1/2

 Woke up to a text from MOE saying that I've been posted to Victoria Junior College (33S) and I was overjoyed!! Well actually, I received the message at 6.30am and I was still sleeping soundly then, but my mom, being as nervous/curious as I was, decided to sneak into my room and check my phone and she got so excited she woke me up immediately HAHA

p.s. I was initially super nervous because I heard from a few people/relatives that I might not get into the school with my score- my cousin had the same score but she didn't get in a couple of years ago. So I'm really lucky :))

Spent the last day of my holiday with none other than cheryl. It was our first 'date' of the entire holiday, and even though it was just dinner, it's still as amazing to spend some quality time together :)

We decided to share a delectable cup of lychee ice cream from 320 below (tampines 1 basement, beside cold storage), and ying xuan was working there so we got a bigger serving than what we're supposed to have ;-) We both love the lychee pieces in the ice cream, highly recommended hehe

We weren't hungry yet so we decided to just walk around :)) We ended up in popular at one point and I made an impulse buy hehe

Heard pretty good reviews about this book so i decided to give it a try! Settled at CBTL for dinner :-)

My fav ceasar salad!My OGL called my house phone in the evening but I wasn't around so I didn't know my OG until quite late at night! I was so worried that I'll be lost without an OG the next day HAHAHA.  Being my curious self, I decided to search my OG up on twitter/insta and they all seemed really friendly, which made me look forward even more to school :)

And the next day was the first day of school, which marks the start of a new chapter in my life :) I was so anxious yet so pumped to embark on a brand new journey in a brand new environment with a brand new group of people :) Met Rachel and her friend in the morning and we travelled to school together, I haven't seen her since we graduated from Poi Ching!

The first day of school mainly consists of lots of admin stuff, cheering, dancing and interacting with one another :-)  and here's my sub OG, ARVIA 4!!!! Everyone is so welcoming and approachable, and the school spirit is incredible!! Hehe I really did enjoy myself :)

The 2nd day of Orientation started off with talks in the PT and I kept dozing off hehe. We learnt 2 more mass dances before we started on dry games! Everyone in my group was super participative but we didn't manage to win any games HAHAHAHA but we laughed it off and agreed that we'll definitely do much better in wet games ;-)  There was also a fashion parade where they showcased the CCAs, super cool!! :) Everything ended at around 6pm, got our OPAC, and we decided to take some pictures while our OGL had their debrief.

Mehh.. I decided to blink & my eye was on the verge of closing when the picture was taken HAHAHAHAHAHA fml I look so old and wrinkled

Headed to the airport for our OG dinner and there were many other OG groups there as well!!:)

Stayed till around 10.30 with a few others and did a little bonding with some of the OGLs :) super friendly seniors!! Apart from a few awkward instances with the guys in our groups (I guess they're just shy.. since most of them are from an all-guys school), Arvia 4 is amazing!! :)

We also got our subject combis/classes last night but I've not found anyone who's in the same class as me HAHAHA we'll be meeting our classes on Monday and I can't wait to meet my future classmates!! Next week is going to be super exciting wooo :))
