Goodbye 2013 // Hello 2014

Firstly, happy new year!!!!! :-) have a blessed year ahead!

I managed to end 2013 and start 2014 with a group of my close friends and I had the most amazing time with 'em! We decided to catch frozen before we headed to chia's home where we will be staying at for the night. Zhi yu didnt join us for the movie because she watched it the previous day so she met us afterwards!!!! :) sneaked in sushi again because we were all late and had to rush to catch the movie hahaha. And I must say frozen is so good!!!! Didn't want to watch it in the cinemas initially but the good reviews from everyone won me over and I'm so glad I caught it :') it's so magical and brings out the inner child in me, dreaming of being a princess and all, undeniably adding it to one of my fav Disney films! *.*

Zhiyu came to meet us and we headed to white sands for grocery shopping for our steamboat that night :-)





Bought a lot of food + snacks, not knowing that her parents bought even more food for us at home HAHAHA.

Went over to chia te's place and we watched The Purge which was pretty alright! Then we started our steamboat dinner and there was so much food we were all bloated at the end of it.




This wasn't all we had, we were given so much food we couldn't finish them!! Hahahaha.


Ate as much as we could and finally gave up! Just chilled on the couch while waiting for Tjinyang to arrive! (He rushed here from the airport bc he just landed)

Tjinyang had his share of the steamboat and some of them joined him for a second round while the rest of us played cards hahaha! Watched the countdown show on channel 5/8 and it was kinda shitty.

Tjinyang bought us tai yang bing which were so yummy hehe


Just sat around, talked and played cards and it was unknowingly close to midnight!!!!!


Countdown with the television and we realise we forgot to open our sparkling juice (our very own 'champagne'), so we countdown again just to pop the bottle!!! Her parents decided to open a bottle of real champagne for us and im not exactly a fan of drinking so the girls & I shared a little while the boys had slightly more! Ding Xuan got so red and started blabbering but he claimed he wasn't drunk and it was so funny HAHAHA





Face-timed cheryl who was at a camp and spent the rest of the night chilling and the boys started singing Korean songs in English which sounded horrendous HAHAHAHA. Chilled around and definitely had a lot of great laughs!!! Zhiyu had to leave at around 3am bc she couldn't join us for the sleepover so we sent her off before washing up and we decided to watch The Conjuring. Everyone found their own spots on the couch/floor and there were numerous boring parts where some of us fell asleep hahaha!

The movie ended at around 6+am but we weren't tired so we stayed up slightly longer until 8am before we knocked out and woke up at 10am!

Zhiyu came back to join us and we all just chilled around (again) and the rest watched another movie while I took a short nap on the couch! Watched running man instead and then we started taking pictures before leaving her house at 7!






















There are a whole lot more but it's impossible to post all of 'em here hahaha. Spent more than 24 hours with them at chia te's house and I had an enjoyable time!!! :-) lots of unglam and hilarious moments here and there that I'll never forget hahahaha. Blessed to have this group of friends with me to start the year of :-) the year has been great so far and I hope it stays this way!!!! ;-)

Have a great day at school tomorrow guys! :D Even though I miss school, I'm glad I don't have it tomorrow hehe
